Do you offer a flat rate from Boston to New York?
+
Yes. One fixed price, quoted and locked before you book — from Logan Airport, downtown Boston, Back Bay, Cambridge, the Seaport, or anywhere in the Greater Boston area, to any address in New York City or anywhere else in New York State. Traffic on I-95 or the Merritt (Route 15) doesn't change what you pay. Sedans and SUVs are both available; you pick the vehicle, we quote the trip.
Can I go down for the day and come back the same night — or return on a different date?
+
Both. Same-day round trips are common: the chauffeur drives you down, waits while you're at your meeting, show, or event, then brings you back that night. If you're staying over, we book the return leg for whatever date you need. It's the same flat-rate structure either way, and booking both legs together is usually the better value.
How long is the drive?
+
About 215 miles, and roughly 4 to 4½ hours to Midtown Manhattan in normal conditions. Realistically, budget 5 hours or more for a Friday afternoon departure, a Sunday evening return, or anything crossing the metro area during rush hour. We'll recommend a departure time based on your arrival deadline, and you're never billed for time spent in traffic.
Sedan or SUV — which should I book?
+
A luxury sedan is right for one to three passengers with normal luggage, and it's the standard choice for solo business travel. A Suburban makes more sense for four or more people, for anyone bringing large or multiple bags, or for a group that wants room to spread out on a four-hour drive. Larger vehicles including stretch limousines and limo buses are available for groups. Tell us passenger count and bag count when you book and we'll steer you to the right one.
Do you serve JFK or LaGuardia?
+
Yes — in both directions, dropped at your terminal's departures curb.
Do you go beyond New York City?
+
Yes — anywhere in New York State. Long Island and the Hamptons, Westchester, the Hudson Valley, Albany, Saratoga Springs, the Catskills, Cooperstown, Ithaca, Buffalo. If your destination isn't in our online booking menu, call 781-641-0202 and we'll quote it directly.
Are tolls, parking, and fees included?
+
Tolls are included in your quote, along with the service and administrative fees, so you see the complete total before you confirm rather than a surprise on the receipt. The one exception is parking. If the trip requires it, the parking fee is billed after the service is completed at whatever the facility charges. Traffic is never billed — that's on us.
Is it actually worth it versus flying or taking the train?
+
Depends on the trip. A flight is faster on paper, but by the time you add getting to Logan, security, the flight itself, and a car from JFK or LaGuardia into Manhattan, a car service often lands within an hour of the same door-to-door total — and you skip security, keep your luggage with you, and work the whole way. The Acela is comfortable but takes you to Penn Station, not your address. For two or more travelers, the price gap closes fast, since a car is one flat rate regardless of headcount.
Will the same chauffeur bring me back?
+
Usually, on a same-day round trip. On overnight or multi-day bookings we may assign a different chauffeur for the return, since federal hours-of-service limits govern how long a driver can be behind the wheel. Either way you'll get your chauffeur's name and direct cell number before pickup, and the vehicle class stays the same.
Can we make stops along the way?
+
Yes — Providence, Mystic, New Haven, Greenwich, Foxwoods, or a dinner stop. Tell us at booking so the stop is priced into your flat rate rather than billed as waiting time afterward. Multi-stop routings through Connecticut or Westchester are quoted the same way.
